Hello, my name is Daan Assen and I live in the Netherlands. I have a passion for learning, innovation and entrepreneurship. This blog presents my reflections and learning related to these subjects. My interest in learning & innovation was raised during my study Master in Educational Science & Technology (MSc) at the University of Twente. After this study I work(ed) in the field of Knowledge Management, Learning and/or Training & Development for over 10 years now. During this period I also completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA) at TiasNimbas Business School. I have been able to gather International experience in roles like consultant, project manager, account manager and director in several industries.

Via the Innovation Network of my company Atrivision I am involved in research in the following subjects: strategic HRD, learning organization, organizational learning, corporate universities, leadership & innovation and e-learning. My PhD research work at the University of Twente concentrates on ‘Organizational learning for innovation’. Any suggestions in this field of research are more than welcome!
